‘Romeo’ leaves football to pursue fashion

Romeo Beckham, the beloved son of David Beckham, has decided to hang up his boots to follow in the footsteps of his mother Victoria into fashion full-time.

Romeo was part of Arsenal’s academy from 2014-15 before joining Inter Miami, a team co-owned by his father, from 2021-2023.

Last summer, he caused a stir when he signed a one-year contract with Brentford and trained with Brentford B, their reserve team.

However, the 22-year-old Romeo has recently decided not to continue his football career as he intends to pursue fashion. And modelling instead, signing with SAFE Management Paris to move into the same industry as his mother.

“He has loved his time at Brentford but needs to focus his attention on fashion. Which is where his passion lies. 

“Romeo has recently signed with a top fashion agent in Paris and has his sights set on working with some ­massive brands.”

It’s not the first time David and Victoria Beckham’s son has changed career paths.

After playing for Arsenal as a youngster, he swapped football for tennis.

Victoria has worked with famous brands over the years. And was also the winner of the Designer of the Year award at the 2011 British Fashion Awards.

Victoria became a fashion designer after her singing career came to an end. And is viewed as a fashion icon herself.

Romeo has been on the cover of numerous magazines over the years. As well as being involved in a Burberry campaign at the ripe age of two years old.

He turned 22 on Sunday and his parents both posted heartfelt messages on ทางเข้า ufabet social media.

Despite having to change careers, Romeo will be stepping into a world he is already familiar with, having modelled for Burberry and was named Britain’s 26th Best-Dressed Man as a child.

He has also modeled for Yves Saint Laurent and appeared on the cover of L’Uomo Vogue three years ago.
